Croyde Shores is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in with every facility you could want. Lovely to return to at the end of a day's sightseeing. We will be looking to return again in the near future. Croyde is an ideal location village is very picturesque and the beach has to be one of the best in Devon, also within easy reach of Woolacombe, Ilfracombe Lynmouth to name but a few. For us a nostalgic holiday returning nearly 30 years later and realising what we had been missing. We are looking to return possibly next year as there is still a lot to do and see. Big thank you for a great week.

Our second stay at Croyde Shores and probably won’t be the last. Everything we needed. Nice to find a property for 2 that is not just a open plan kitchen, diner and bedroom. Adequately but not over generously equipped. Lovely to have the garden and off road parking and being at the back of the property was really quiet. Nice that there was room in the cupboards for food we had brought with us. We have been coming to Croyde for many years we love it. Overall really nice relaxing holiday but not such nice weather.

Loved the location and found easily Fantastic location – great little walk to pubs and shops and if could of made a little closer to the sea would have been impeccable. Your Duvet, sheets and Pillows were sumptuously wonderful, amazing, love getting in bed so soft and perfect We loved the area and location and most certainly did a lot of sightseeing and driving around and walking - Amazing, Loved it and cannot wait to return. Great place as a base to explore the area which is stunning. Good value for money basic but clean. Would certainly be keen to return. Enjoyed our holiday very much. Well appointed cottage with all requirements met for an enjoyable stay. Very quiet with a nice garden and BBQ to enjoy the outside weather, Attentive owners who ensure that you have a nice time at the property.
Included welcome pack very useful for getting out and about, with recommended places to eat and drink. Croyde is a beautiful part of the North Devon coast, great beach within an easy walk from the property, also within easy reach are lots of eating and drinking places. Braunton and Barnstable are a short drive away for those that like a bit of shopping.
Also for those that like walking is the South West Coastal Path, with good buses to get your finishing/starting point.
The property is an ideal place to have a break from the stresses and strains of life. Be it be beach, walking, sightseeing or just reading a book. I couldn’t think of a finer place to stay. Oh and the local food is pretty good too.

The property is wonderfully positioned with quick access to both Croyde village and beach. The location throughout our stay in November, 2021 was quiet. The property was perfectly well equipped, we didn’t mind having to take our own towels and liked the fact that under current conditions we were given the option to use our own bed linen. Any contact with the owners was extremely positive, possibly benefitting from the fact that Croyde Holiday Cottages is a small family run business.
We love visiting Croyde and the surrounding area and for over 25 years have regularly stayed in the vicinity. There are lots of amazing walks, which don’t involve using a car, including around Baggy Point into Putsborough, Georgeham and Woolacombe. We are not ‘lye on the beach’ people but enjoy bodyboarding at Croyde and Putsborough. There are also plenty of great pubs and restaurants in Croyde, Georgeham and Braunton. We also like to visit Barnstaple and visit the many independent shops (particularly the South-West Cheese Shop in Butchers Row), Pannier Market (especially now Rose is back) and cafes (Boston Tea Party).
A great little bolthole for two, in a lovely location.
We look forward to another holiday in Croyde Shores in the not-too-distant future.

The house has a perfect location as it's 10 mins walk to the beach and a 5 mins walk to shops, pubs and cafes but maintains a secluded and private atmosphere.
It was very cosy and provided everything we needed for our weeks stay. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was easy to use and the private parking is a bonus. we would stay there again with pleasure.
Ps. The owners were brilliant when we needed some information and replied to our text messages immediately. Always reassuring to know you are not just a number but a valued customer.

Nice Bungalow
Stayed here recently for a week. It was a pleasant self-contained bungalow with its own parking space. Nice living/dining room and patio doors to the garden, a modern bathroom and kitchen. WiFi included. Walking distance to Croyde centre and the lovely beach. The bedroom was nice, but the white curtains made it difficult to sleep as they let so much light in. However, we enjoyed our stay.

Place very clean, everything up to a good standard, WiFi very good, parking safe next to property, used bus service a lot stop only 3min away nice beach 10min walk at most , local pubs 6 mins away good selection of food and beer, you can get on coast path just up the road on a track , had a very good holiday and fell on some good weather
